Is it Wise For High School Girls To undergo Breast Enlargement Surgery?

Breast enlargement surgery is increasingly popular these days. Women of all ages want fuller, harder, larger, higher-sitting breasts. They believe this will enhance their beauty and sex appeal. Is it really such a good idea to give these implants to a girl who is still in her teens? Women are willing to pay exorbitant fees to get this so-called ideal of beauty, even though implants and their safety issues are very suspect. The FDA did finally say yes to the use of silicon gel implants, but many people still believe they are altogether hazardous. Combine the worry of silicon leaking into the body (which could lead to severe health complications) with the body of a young girl, and you have a real cause for concern.

When i was in high school in the 1980's, I knew four girls who had breast implants. Granted, this became some time ago. Teenaged girls today are getting these implants much more often than most people realize. ㅗㅜㅑ Today, breast enlargement surgery is considered normal -- almost as normal as getting your teeth light! Perhaps not to that extreme, but the comparison certainly demonstrates my point. Is it really safe for these girls to have implants? The subject is certainly open to debate.

The minimum recommended age for a breast enlargement patient is eighteen yoa. This is only one guideline; there is no law which states the patient must be eighteen in order to have the surgery. Since it is not illegal to achieve the procedure before the age of eighteen, many parents are purchasing this expensive and dangerous surgery for their young children. Is this wrong? Are teenage girls too young to obtain this surgery? There are a number of reasons that suggest it is a poor idea.

Numerous studies have proven anytime boys and girls enter their teen years, they are very unhappy with their bodies. As they age, they are increasingly pleased with the appearance of their bodies. As they age, they are more accepting of their appearance. This expected acceptance of their physical aspect is only one reason for an adolescent girl to await until she is eighteen before she decides to have this type of surgery.

Another reason for a female to await before she's breast enlargement is purely physical. Breast development can continue into the early twenties. If a girl has her body surgically altered, your girl friend will never know what the truth size and shape of her breasts are. A young person girl who is unhappy with her appearance can realistically expect that she's going to become happier with her appearance when she enters her early twenties. For this reason, many cosmetic surgeons advice that a teenager that is unhappy with her appearance wait until her person is fully developed before she varies it surgically.

Need another reason to await until you're a little older to get breast enlargement? Between twenty and thirty percent of women have complications with their implants within the first four years following their surgery. Yet another reason: breast implants must be replaced every a decade. This means that a female in high school who opts for breast enlargement could easily have three breast-related operations before she reaches the age of twenty-five.
